Day Out, OPEN
day out at the city mall
The great thing about the weekend, no work! She liked her work yes but sleeping in and just relaxing was always nice. OF course today she had not been so lucky in any of that. She'd woken up earlier than she would have liked, she had gone for a run and gotten a quickly supply run from the food markets before putting a load of washing on and hit the road.
Her little 2010 pale blue Volkswagen Beetle car was parked in the multistory car park as she wandered around the shops. She was supposed to be finding some new plates and bowls for her house after she accidentally broke the last ones but let's face it they had been old and maybe practicing her molecular immobilization at multiple moving targets at once was not the best idea. She'd saved some but not them all.
As it went though she had expensive tastes and she had a budget so she needed to stick to it but she didn't want to settle for simple plates. Forcing herself to walk past a bookshop she made a beeline for one of the newer kitchen supplies stores and walked into it. Now she was here she had to follow through. Taking in a deep breath she nodded her head. If she could be a witch and deal with all of that then she could pick out some plates easily enough. Of course it would go so much better if one of her family members or a friend was here to help her out with it all.
Picking up a moroccan bowl observing it. She was not big on oranges but she supposed the subtle little hints here and there happened to work. She tilted her head one way and then the other before huffing and put the bowl back down looking over some others.

One would have thought that even with all her abilities she would have known by now someone was approaching her and not just anyone but her cousin Samuel. It was not until he yelled her name out did she notice and notice she did. She literally nearly dropped the bowl she was holding from the sheer fright as her ears rang out and eyes widened from fright for a moment. Pausing as she gripped the bowl tighter for a split second before looking over to see her cousin with a trolley full of stuff.
"Bloody hell Sammy, you scared the shit out of me" she said laughing nervously as she let her heart beat slow down and gave him a warm smile. She liked Sammy, he was a fun guy to hang around and she was only a year older than him, someone around her own age in the family who was not a sibling of hers. Besides she always had this calm feeling when around Sammy, he was just a simple guy, someone easy for her to get along with. Or well so she thought.
"What do you think?" she asked holding the bowl up to him before putting it down and walked around her cousins trolley and gave him a hug. "Dare I ask what's with all the new appliances?" she asked him as she let him go with a raised brow glancing to his trolley. Seriously though, like what had happened for him to go on a shopping spree for new stuff?
